What are the Benefits of Private Health Insurance?

While the NHS can provide an excellent service, waiting times to see a Consultant and to receive any subsequent medical treatment can be lengthy.  At CS Healthcare, we are committed to ensuring our members and their families have swift and easy access to affordable private healthcare from a wider range of hospitals and specialist healthcare providers across the UK.

Why do I need it?

If you want to ensure you are covered financially for certain conditions or illnesses or fast-track your diagnosis and treatment whilst receiving specialist care at a time and location which is convenient for you, private health insurance could be very helpful.

The comfort of having access to a second opinion on your medical conditions or extended cover for serious illnesses like cancer can be reassuring during an otherwise distressing time. There may also be the option of therapies such as physiotherapy or chiropractic treatments which can help shorten recovery times.

What’s Included with my Policy?

There are benefits to having private health insurance, and these vary depending on your insurer and policy . However, generally speaking, you can expect quick access to consultations, treatment at a time and place to suit you and your own private room when you are in hospital as some of the more general benefits.

It is important to remember that depending on which policy you take out, certain benefits may not be available. Take a look at CS Healthcare’s two policy descriptions to see what options you have.
