The start of the year is always a time when people plan out their ‘New Year, New Me’ mantras. It is great to want to be more body positive or take control of your career, but resolutions can come with a lot of pressure, and the supposed failure to adhere to these resolutions can make us feel really bad about ourselves. The CS Healthcare team have created a list of the best ways to feel positive about you.
Take Time for Yourself
Our lives are all really busy, and all the different tasks we have to do can take over time where we could be enjoying ourselves. It is important to try and schedule in something that you enjoy just for you- it doesn’t have to be a part of your resolution, just something that you enjoy, it could be baking, yoga, gardening, going for a walk. Whatever will give you a spring in your step!
List all the positives
It can be very easy to focus on the negatives in life, and ignore the positive. So, when something good happens- even something really small, like having a good hair day, note it down and when things aren’t going quite to plan, you will have a list of all the positives in your life!
Appreciate your sleep
Nothing can make you feel more revitalized and refreshed than a really good night’s sleep for feeling positive and wanting to take on the day. While some people can obviously have trouble sleeping, there are tips and tricks to make sure that you have the best chance of getting a good night’s sleep- lavender scents are known to relax, engaging in a form of mindfulness meditation will clear your mind of negativity, and even just something as simple as reading a book before you sleep to take your mind off of your day.
